Math Circles

The Contra Costa County Math Circle is a completely high school student-run organization that aims to better the education of youths all throughout Tri-Valley through mathematical education. We help students explore interesting mathematical theorems and concepts that assist widely in school and competitive math competitions (AMC 8/ Mathcounts) through creative problem solving.  The instructors are all qualified high school students with many years of competitive math experience and prestigious awards in various competitions.  Please click on below flyer for additional information and registration.

Student Participation

We realize that the final group sizes are smaller than preferred and may not accommodate all of our students who have an interest in participating. We try to have math groups that are as inclusive as possible but also need to work within our current space and proctoring limitations.

It is important that the students have an interest in participating. For that reason, we will communicate any additional information regarding important dates on our school loop page to keep parents informed but will ask that students sign themselves up at school if interested. Ms. Baltazar will be the contact person with students during their lunchtime for questions, sign ups, results, and awards.
