Drop Off/Pick Up: Helpful Hints

Thank you to all the drivers at WRMS for showing patience and courtesy to other drivers. Here are some hints that may lighten traffic and stress on adults.

  1. There is only 1 right hand turn lane into the parking lot  from E. Branch Pkwy coming from Bollinger Canyon Pkwy (if unable to enter, go up to 2nd light, make u-turn, then left turn into parking lot).
  2. Leave the center lane open for through traffic
  3. Please carpool or encourage students to walk/ride a bike, scooter, or skateboard to and from school.WRMS dropoff pickup.gif

SRVUSD Annual Update

San Ramon Valley Unified parents are asked to complete an online “Annual Update” to verify household and emergency contact information and complete the annual release acknowledgement and permission requirements.

Complete the District Online Annual Update using your Parent Portal in Infinite Campus.

The Annual Update window for the 2018-19 school year is scheduled to open on July 10th for Windemere Ranch Middle School. To begin the process, click on the Annual Update link located in the bottom left corner of your Welcome page titled “Online Enrollment Annual Update”.

Only one Annual Update is required for each family at a primary address. The message will continue to appear in your inbox until the end of the Annual Update period. Please disregard the message once you have completed your Annual Update. You will receive a confirmation email following completion of the Annual Update process.

Windemere Ranch Middle School Registration

 Registration Steps:

  1. Complete Future Fund registration https://windemereranch.futurefund.com/registration
  2. Bring receipt to onsite registration on August 6th (10-1PM or 4-7PM) or August 7th(4-7PM)
  3. At onsite registration, students will have picture taken, receive ID card, PE Clothes, and PE Locker.

Online Registration will be live and posted here on July 30th

*The registration website, is not sponsored by the school. Information provided on this website may be available to Parent Teacher Associations and other educational benefit foundations as well as school personnel as required.

Interested in writing articles, drawing cartoons, or just having a voice in your school newspaper?  Join the Newspaper Club!

Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, August 21, in Room E-218 (Mr. Hart's classroom).

Our school newspaper, The Talon, is published monthly and is written and edited entirely by students. The club is open to students from any grade.  If you are interested, please print the attached permission form, complete the information, and have the form signed by a parent.  Then turn in the form to the office or bring it to the meeting on Aug. 21.

As part of our Personalized Learning Initiative discussions during the last school year, one of the recommendations to ease stress on families was to change the way families interact with the Dashboard on School Loop. Prior to this school year, all families would automatically receive a daily email from School Loop that showed a dashboard that displayed their child’s homework and progress in his/her classes.

 

New this year, families will need to manually opt-in to receive this daily email reminder. The Dashboard is always available on School Loop. You can log-in and view it at any time. But if you want to receive a daily email reminder to check the Dashboard, you will need to follow these instructions.

If for some reason the Instructions link is broken here is how parents can change daily email settings:

 

 

Opt In to Receive the Daily Email

Users who prefer to login to check their accounts rather than receive a daily email can do so by turning off the Receive Daily Email feature. This feature is located on your Account Management page.

  1. Click the Gear Icon at the top right of any page in your portal.
  2. Click the Change button to the right of "Receive Daily Emails".
  3. Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.

If the default choice states 'NO' you will no longer receive the daily homework email and must log in to view assignments, grades, and news.
