Drop Off/Pick Up: Helpful Hints

Thank you to all the drivers at WRMS for showing patience and courtesy to other drivers. Here are some hints that may lighten traffic and stress on adults.

  1. There is only 1 right hand turn lane into the parking lot  from E. Branch Pkwy coming from Bollinger Canyon Pkwy (if unable to enter, go up to 2nd light, make u-turn, then left turn into parking lot).
  2. Leave the center lane open for through traffic
  3. Please carpool or encourage students to walk/ride a bike, scooter, or skateboard to and from school.WRMS dropoff pickup.gif

AMC8 scores are now available!

Ms. Baltazar will be distributing test scores and certificates on Thursday, December 21st,  and Monday, January 8th, during all three lunches.  Students who took the  AMC8 test in November should check in at the stage to receive their results.

Students who would like to see the problems they missed or review the solution booklet will need to do so at lunch, as we only received one solution booklet.  They can do this any day that Ms. Baltazar is at lunch supervision.

Calling ALL Falcons and Gryphons. Windemere Ranch Middle School  and Gale Ranch Middle School are teaming up to put Families First. Families from either middle school are welcome to attend our Tuesday and Thursday evening events in March (see attached flyer).   More information to follow.

The lost and found bins are overflowing in the MPR!  Please check the bins for lost PE Clothes, Jackets, lunch boxes, etc.  All unclaimed items will be donated on Friday, March 2nd after school.  Students can check the bins any time during the day.  Parents can check the bins prior to early start (7:53am) or after late release (3:15pm).

Merve Lapus from Common Sense Media is coming to inspire and inform our community on the evening of Wednesday, March 21st. His presentation is entitled "Ways to Have Critical Family Conversations About Balancing Digital Life, Managing Apps and Staying Positive on Social Media.” This event is part of the PTA Council’s Parenting & Beyond Speaker Series this year, and is open to ANYONE – parents, community members, and staff. Since we use Common Sense as our main resource for teaching digital citizenship lessons, it will be nice that parents will be able to get a closer look at the messages that our students are hearing at school.
